Minister Sudivya Kumar inspected the Shravani Mela preparations: Instructions to complete all the work by July 28, also inspected the tent city

Jharkhand Government Minister Sudivya Kumar inspected the preparations for the world famous State Shravani Fair 2026 in Deoghar on Saturday, July 25. He took stock of the Kanwariya route line at 9:30 am. During this, officials of various departments of the district were present. The Minister took information about the work being done for the facilities of the devotees and gave necessary directions to the officials. The minister also inspected the tent city being built for night rest on the Kanwariya route line. It was told that arrangements are being made to accommodate more than 400 Kanwariyas in this tent city. He also took stock of the arrangement of sand laid in the route line, so that the devotees do not face any problem while traveling on foot. Officials were instructed to pay special attention to this. After the inspection, the Minister held a meeting with the officials of all the departments of the district at Deoghar Parishad. Inspector General of Police, Deputy Inspector General of Dumka and senior officers of various departments were present in this meeting. A detailed review of the preparations for Shravani Mela was done in the meeting. The Minister directed the officials that all the remaining works related to the fair should be completed by July 28 under any circumstances. Talking to journalists, he said that the preparations for Shravani Mela are almost complete and whatever small and big works are left, they will be completed in the next four days. He stressed that it is the top priority of the government to provide better facilities to the Kanwariyas and devotees coming for the world famous Shravani Mela starting from July 29. All departments have been instructed to work with full promptness, so that the devotees return with a pleasant experience.
