Agency : Based on specific information from Lucknow Military Intelligence, Odisha Police took a major action against Bangladeshi citizens living illegally.
On 10 July Odisha police launched a crackdown and conducted a covert operation in Puri district and detained one Bangladeshi women. According to reliable sources, Ruksar Begum was living illegally without valid documents in vill Danogahir under PS Pippili.
The investigation also revealed that she was found using fake Aadhaar cards in Indian names in Bhubaneswar and other areas of Odisha and was involved earlier in a number of illegal and suspicious activities in the state.
She has been tranferred in Holding centre by Puri Police and security agencies are conducting a detailed investigation into the matter.
